- Xueliang Li (Sean)


Hello, I am LI Xueliang (Sean). I am an assistant professor at the School of Design, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

My research interests include design for mental wellbeing, interaction design of smart wearables, and human-technology relationships. My research is featured in human-computer interaction (HCI) and the interdisciplinary domains between design and health psychology.

Before joining School of Design, SUSTech, I obtained my Ph.D. from the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). My PhD thesis focuses on exploring human-wearable relationships in the context of designing smart wearables for people with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

This is Baihui Chen. I am a research assistant at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). I received my Master’s degree from the Communication University of China in 2022.
I focus on the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Accessibility. Specifically, I apply user-centered design, artificial intelligence, VR/AR, and tangible interaction. I am interested in the opportunities brought by new technologies!

Master

This is Zhilei Kong. I am a master at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). I graduate from Shenyang University of Technology in 2022.
Now I focus on the fields of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and trying to be a designer. I am interested in all kinds of technologies especially about popularizing robotics!
